I am just the opposite of you. I lost weight in the beginning and haven't gained any of it back yet and as "lovely" as it sounds its really a bigger pain in the a**. I have had to have lots of extra blood work, extra Dr visits, see a dietitian, and all the worry that comes with not knowing if your baby is okay. People also think it's easier but it's not. I may not have gained any weight but I still have a huge belly and my back and legs are killing me. It's one of those situations where the grass isn't always greener on the other side. As long as you have a healthy pregnancy that's all you need to worry about. I know its not easy looking in the mirror and seeing your body change so much over such a short period of time, but just remember its all that little life inside you. The scale is just a number. Continue to eat healthy and get in some light exercise and after that baby is born your weight will come right off.
I have suffered from anorexia and bulimia for 12 years now. I am currently at an over weight weight but started losing massive amounts right before I found out I was pregnant. Same thing happened with my daughter. Its going to be hard. I'm not going to lie to you but don't deprive yourself. Remember, restricting yourself is restricting the baby. talk to your doctor and see a psychologist that specializes in eating disorders and try to do some yoga and writing therapy.
I eat healthy igot to the gym 4days a week and im gaining weight not too much but im 5'2 and weighed 163 before iwas pregnant but my dr said my weight gain is fine. Dont stress to much on it you will lose the weight after
5 r and i weighex about 164 and now idk how much i weigh now the nurses dont tell me when they weigh me
How much did you weigh before pregnancy? How far along are you? How tall are you? And how much do you weigh now?
I did see a counselor for a while but then i lost my insurance and couldnt any longer, ill check if my current insurance covers it thanks for the advise and to the 15 to 25 thing i think thats how much ive gained
Ya the average weight your supposed to gain during pregnancy is between 15-25 lbs. Lucky I have maintained my weight so far.... but im only 13 weeks so im definitely worried about it bc im so short (4'11) and the more weight I gain the risk gets higher for a c section and other problems.
Gaining weight is supposed to happen. If you're still feeling the pressure of how you look or dealing with anorexia related thoughts you should see a counselor. I had an eating disorder before I was pregnant and I see a counselor every. Month
Ok...gosh this is gonna be a hard road... thanks so much guys im glad im.not alone
Well you're suppose to gain weight. You can't stop it. Not everyone gains weight. But as long as you're eating healthy and exercising then the weight you're gaining the baby needs and will most likely all drop off after birth.
Same here i feel like I'm eating very well, rarely snacking and still gaining ... I'm already a bit overweight so giving excessive amounts isn't what i want but my dr said i can't control it. Were just pregnant and have to keep telling ourselves that.
