Dr puts you off 6 weeks regardless of type of birth it's just standard maternity leave, but you can start doing small work outs when you feel up too it :)

It depends on how you have the baby. C section you have to wait 6-8 weeks. For vaginal I think its 4wks. Since you plan on breast feeding do not deprive yourself of nutrients eat as healthy as you can your baby needs them
