weight

I'm getting concerned about my lack of weight gain I'm almost 15 weeks and I haven't gained anything. First trimester I lost 20 pounds and the past 3 weeks I haven't lost anymore but no gain. I'm eating snacks, whole grain, fruits, veggies, and all the healthy stuff proteins and what not. Has anyone else had this or is this normal.

As long as you are eating and not intentionally losing weight i wouldnt worry about it. Drink a glass of milk every now and then to add in some calories and fat but dont stress about it. I lost 7 to begin with and then gained 26 through out my 2nd trimester. Your body only needs 300 extra calories more than before , so stay healthy eat well lots of water and dont worry yourself about weight

Im 20w2d and Ive had a problem gaining weight too. The nutritionist told me to drink milkshakes everyday with fruit in them, lots of fruit and peanut butter, whole milk, trail mix with soy nuts. I only did the milkshakes, whole milk, and pb and I gained two pounds in two weeks.

I wasn't overweight. It feels so strange I can fit in to my old high school jeans right now. My doc said the weight loss was normal but I should gain 5 pounds between our last appt. and my upcoming one nxt week.

Not to sound mean but are you considered over weight? I am and I am 16+4 and havent gained only lost....my doc says its normal for bigger women not to gain at first, as long as you are eating well you will eventually start to gain.
