I'm 31 weeks tomorrow and have gained. 21 pounds and I'm upset about that. My doctor doesn't want me gaining anymore than 25 because it makes labor go easier. I was 146 pounds prepregnancy also and 5'3"

Doctors don't always say anything. I gained 50 with my first doctor never said a word. I went from 140 to 190. I was suppose to only gain up to 35lbs. After my first pregnancy I got down to 150 with some hard work but gained back 20 right before this one because of emotional issues. I started this one at 168 now I'm 180 so 12 lbs trying not to pass 20lbs. You have gained quite a bit but with some hard work theres no reason why you can't lose all of it especially if breastfeeding.

I was 190 prepregnancy and am now 183 :( I keep losing but my baby girl is growing just fine and actually measuring ahead in 27+4 so I'm sure I'll pick up weight these last weeks.

I was 180 and now around 212 but my doctor hasn't said anything.. I just try and be healthy (eating right and exercise) and see how it goes after the little one is here :)
