Cheese made me feel better too.. and rice any kind ( except spicy) Keep gum and candy with you at all times it helps to keep your blood sugar stabalized which helps everything.. ginger ale helped me too... anything sour ie. sour candy .. crackers peanut butter right out of the jar helped me stay healthy... but honestly a big hunk of cheese helped me immensly

Fruits, cause they are light like some strawberries or melon and one that my step -MIL told me that I didn't believe till I tried was cheese. It worked, not sure why but it made me feel a lot better.

Here's what worked for me when I was going through the rough spots:  applesauce, toast, milk, chicken noodle soup, goldfish crackers, raisins, and oatmeal.  I drank ginger ale some, too.  Oh, and peppermint candies were a life-saver for me!

You're welcome! Also, like brandy said, I know for me it was hard to drink just straight water. I usually drank juice or iced tea and just watered it down for the first few weeks until I felt ready for plain water. Good luck dear!!

I am having the same problem, peanut butter sandwich work well for me. Also I keep hard candies in my pocket and suck on those through out the day I am sure it is not  helping my teeth but its better then throwing up. Water actually makes me sicker if I try to drink that so i have been drinking decaf ice tea in the am then drink my water later when I am feeling better.

Have you tried ginger? I used the candied ginger and just keep it in my mouth for a very long time. It helped for about an hour or so. I couldn't keep anything down the first 5 months. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water!! The baby will get what he or she needs from you during this time. Just stay hydrated. Try maybe crackers and ginger ale...that could help. I also noticed when I let myself get too hungry or my stomach was empty it would make me really sick. Just keeping some crackers in you can help a little bit. Also, only eat what you think sounds or smells good at the time, you don't want to make yourself worse by eating something you really don't want!! Ahh the beauty of pregnancy!! But it is all worth it in the end, I'm sure. =) Your doctor hasn't prescribed anything for the nausea?? I know they can....I'm sure some other ladies on here have a little bit more advice and experience with precriptions than I do! =) I hope you feel better soon. The closer you get to the 2nd trimester, the easier it should be with the sickness. (hopefully!!) Good luck and congrats on the little one! =)

Usually dry tastless foods.

Try water crackers. The trick is to have the packet on your bedside table, and the minute you wake up eat one. Don't sit up!!! 2 or 3 is better if you can manage.

Try any food with NO SMELL and preferably little taste.

Bread or toast..

Salty can be good, lots of women go for salty foods when they are preggers.

I always end up eating grilled cheese and tomatoes (sliced) on bread. Sometimes with either tomato sauce or vegemite on the bread as well (creating the saltiness)

Boiled rice is usually ok, and you don't need to chew it much. (helping trick your tummy into thinking that you haven't in fact, eaten)

Carrots are another favourite of mine...

Test these and see how you go!
