Well you should use your first morning urine if you did not already.  It is the most undiluted and has more of a concentration of hcg levels.  I would wait like 2 days and take another test.  I am not sure the sensitivity of the dollar store test but you you could go and get an early results test (like Answer brand, First Response) and use that since they have good sensitivities.  I think First Response is the best.  Good luck.

Do you know for sure when you ovulated either by opk or temp rise or something?  It's possible you could have ovulated late.  Also, The dollar tree tests are not the most reliable.  I took one with one of my pregnancies and it was a BFN even after 10 mins or so.  The same afternoon I went to the doc to get a prescription refill for some fertility drugs I was taking and they did a mandatory prego test.  IT was positive! When they did my blood test my hcg level was 25, the dollar tree tests claim a + result at 20 so I'm not sure they are that great.  I'd say wait a few days and test again.  You might want to try a first response early test.
