I think it's very important because when you get the vaccine while pregnant, the antibodies are passed to your baby, protecting your baby for the first couple months after they're born. I got the flu shot and will also get the whooping cough vaccine, because both are very dangerous for the baby to get
I got the whooping cough shot at 36 weeks and the only negative thing was a sore arm but that went anyway in a day or two. I did not get the flu shot though
I didn't get the flu shot.
I got it after I gave birth. Its the safest for my baby I didn't get sick
I got the flu vaccine and whooping cough vaccine about a month ago and I felt fine. I think you should get the whooping cough vaccine.
Both vaccines aren't live so neither will make you sick. I have had both of mine already and was fine other than a little sore arm. They are both highly recommended to help protect both you and baby. Whooping cough is far more serious for the baby to get than for you to get, but the flu is dangerous for both of you.
I get my whopping cough tomorrow and had my flu shot about a month ago and I felt fine after flu shot.
I had them both a few weeks ago now and am feeling fine.
They are recomending for me flu vaccine too.. do i need to ignore that?
Whooping cough vaccine is a dead virus, its not the flu shot. I got the whooping cough shot and didnt get sick neither did my bf. I did refuse the flu shot
