who's to blame?

i stopped taking pills last may 7, 2011. after dat, i got my period, june6, 2011 den july 8, 2011.
my LMP was july 8,2011. i had unprotected sexual intercourse during these following days: aug 2,4,6,12,20. my serum pregnancy test was positive last aug25. according to my transvaginal ultrasound dat same day, i have thickened endometrium. so, this may mean that i am 3 o 4 wks pregnant. i wanna know when i conceived this baby given the days wen i had sex. will someone help me on this? tnx alot.!

yap. i had seen a doctor last aug26. i had my ultrasound aug25. all they can see is thickened endometrium based on the ultrasound. so that mins maybe i had delayed ovulation.

I'm a bit confused. Your last period started July 8? That would make you about 7 weeks pregnant, regardless of how long your cycles are or when you last had sex....your pregnancy age is dated by your last menstrual period. My last menstrual period was around July 4th and I am 8 weeks and 3 days pregnant....so I know that you would be at least 7 weeks.

when did you see the doctor? have you taken a positive pregnancy test?

a correction on that.. 33 day cycle.. got my period july8,2011. the doc said, my ovulation could have bin delayed bcoz i abruptly stopped taking pills. i had unprotected sex during the days i hav mentioned above.but on aug 4, we had withdrawal.

my OB diagnosed me as very early pregnancy based on my ultrasound. she said that at 4wks, a thickened endometrium can be seen thru d ultrasound normally. after i stopped my pills last may, i had a 31-day cycle (got my period june 6, 2011) den 33-day cycle following that (july 7, 2011 got my period agen).

That is a very good point. How long are your cycles normally? They should be able to see a lot more than just a thickened lining. At 7 weeks most people will usually see a fetal pole as well as a heartbeat. I personally saw my daughter at 7 weeks 3 days.

If your LMP was july 8 than that mean you conceived around the 22 of July. They say that you ovulate around the 14 day mark after your last period. Did you have any kind of spotting of when your next expected period around (Aug5) ? So if the calculation are around than you should be around 7 weeks... The person who did your trans-vaginal, did they tell you that you were 3-4 weeks?

It could be anywhere from July 18-26th, so most likely the person you were with the 20th. However, this is ONLY a guess and if you have multiple partners you need to have a DNA test done.
