will they test my baby at birth if my other 2 kids are in DCF custody
Hi there I am 7 months pregnant almost 8 I dranked in the beginning of my pregnancy till I was five months because that's when I found out I was prego and I smoked couple of blunts I'm afraid they will take my baby away from me and her father will they test her poop at birth if my other 2 kids are in DCF custody but they will be coming home in 3 months after 1 whole year will they test her poop because my kids are in DCF custody? I been doing good ever since 6 months prego im almost done being prego will they check her poop and will there be any traces of alcohol or weed in there please help I would be heart broken if they took her away from us we are loving parents and different people now and are on the right tract .we also took a lot of classes in the last year to prove to them we are fit please someone help... All we want to do is raise our baby girl PS I live in Massachusetts
I wasn't a big DRI ker I was having cuoa of wine at like weddings and my birthday and special occasions it wasn't like I was binge drinking but I found out any alcohol is bad now..
They most likely will test your baby's poop, only because your other kids are in their custody. And you may have been doing good now, but you weren't doing good at the beginning of your pregnancy, so you should probably prepare yourself mentally for your baby to be taken. You probably should have changed your ways when your other kids were taken, not when you found out you were pregnant, especially at 5 months pregnant.
Im sorry but it doest stay in the placenta after 20 weeks. My sister smoked till 25 weeks and nothing in placenta or baby's poop and the hospital automaticly test EVERY baby when born.
If your other 2 children are in the custody of the state for the same reason it's likely this one will be tested as well. If not you could try delivering at a place that doesn't test for drugs( such as Catholic hospitals) but if you smoked after 20 weeks it's going to be in your baby's stool whether your system is clean or not because their stools don't pass until after birth. You can ask your doctor to test for defects due to you drinking so long during your pregnancy, but chances are you won't really know all that it's affected until your baby is 3-5 years old unless it's major good luck to you I hope all goes well
Weed stays in your pee 30 days. Weed stays in your baby pop and the placenta from about 20 weeks on. Good luck!! But I'm with the other girl a few blunts won't hurt your baby as much as the alcohol will.
As long as you havent smoked in 30 days you should be fine. The alcohol should be lut of your system also. And here in ohio cps will come talk to you and drug test you jn a month to make sure . also they test the placenta for drugs.
If she kicks and moves around a lot is that a good sign that she does jot have fetal alcohol syndrome ? Help someone please I'm am 33 weeks progeos now
I live in mass I only smoked like 3 bkunta drluring my whole oregancg and it was cause I was sick I know it's a horrible excuse but I have changed my ways for my baby also my 2 other kids are in DCF custody will they automatically teat the baby .PS my kids will be home in 3 months after a whole year of being in state custody because me and my baby's father have took a bunch of classes as they asked I don't know what will show up and what will happen I'm in Massachusetts and will be going to eaither Boston medical center or new england medical center
I smoked weed before pregnancy and I found out I was pregnant at 7 weeks and I stopped smoking. I'm 33 weeks now and it took until last month to not test positive from it. They will not find alcohol but they could find the weed. If they do they might not take your baby away and just have cps come and test you for the first 6 months of your babies life. My friends daughter tested positive for weed and she smoked the entire time and she had cps come and test her for 6 months and she did not stop smoking so they took her baby away. She had to stop smoking for a year before they returned her and she did not stop for 3 months after her baby was taken. Be careful I don't want to see any child taken away from their mother it's cruel
Weed doesn't stay on your system like that. Drink plenty of teas and cranberry juice to clean yourself out, but if they haven't tested yet, I'm sure you'll be fine. I'm just worried about the health because drinking that late in your pregnancy can cause severe damage to the new commer
