Please let us know how you make out as I had a similar problem back in March. As I recall I eventually had severe pain with bowel movements and its color was green for a week. That all went away and things are ok now. good luck!
Thank you for your question. In my experience of the catheter and drain are removed in a majority of patients (read: 99%) within 1 week of surgery. Month long catheterization is not common. Generally, minor leaks will heal on their own.
