PSA reading of 10

My husband had a reading of 6 that than went to a 14.  The doctor gave him an antibiotic because he thought he might have an infection since developing shingles in fall.  This reading of 14 was from a blood test taken February.  He had another blood test, for PSA, taken in March.  The levels came down to a 10.  His doctor now wants him to have another biopsy done.  I think he might still have some infection left from the shingles.  What do you think?

I had a psa max of 4 but have prostrate cancer. He needs to be examined and probably have a biopsy. Hopefully he will be clear but it is velocity of psa that matters. Doubling period not the actual psa reading

age may be relevant to risk.    A lowering of psa is good but should still have biopsy if advised by urologist.
