Prostate Cancer ?

Hi,

I recently went to the ED with slight scrotal pain (not testicular, felt just like discomfort near the perenium) a sensitive tip of the penis. They did a prostate palpation and CBC, Urine. All labs came back normal , no infection or anyting abnormal. Now I am having pain in what I suspect is my iliac crest and odd pains throught the body . Most are very slight and quite intermitent. The thing that im most concerned about now is im starting to have Slightly painful ejaculation with slightly chunky ejaculate.

I do not suspect STD as I was given 1g of Zithromax and a shot of Rocephin at the ED. Could this be prostate cancer (Hip pain, Painful ejaculation, Sensitive tip of the penis, fatigue ) ? Or mamybe just prostatis (even though my labs had no signs of infection.)

Hi,

At your age it is pretty unlikely to get prostate cancer. Even high risk men usually do not get prostate cancer until they reach 40.

In the absence of risk factors for a sexually acquired infection, I would be more concerned that you may have an anatomic anomaly along the tract of urine and sperm.

If these problems recur, then you may need to undergo some urine dynamics studies to rule out an anatomic variation.
