Why did my PSA drop

I had a radical prostectemy 14 years ago and all my PSA results have been below .02 .  Within the last year, test results have increased to .03,.04,.06, .11, .10 and my last test dropped to .05. I know the indication of recurrent cancer is 0.2 but I do not understand why my PSA would suddenly drop like this. Could I have residual prostate cells from the prostectemy?   Could they have not died? Could it be testing equipment or operator expertise?   Could it be related to intercourse?  Could it be meds?  Any thoughts!  I know this is good news but I do not understand why.
