Let me rephrase my last question without any attempt of medical or computer tools...lol...I couldn't open the 2nd link you sent me either, and it's probably my inability to copy+ paste correctly. It don't matter.
Generally, is the word that you used to say that "salvage" surgery is generally used after a failed other method to control the p.c.......My specific question is..... IF I had a lot of $ (no insurance would pay anyway most likely} could you or another very experianced surgeon with a robot, go back into my guts and attempt to remove the cancer thats in the fat to the right of the margins while the psa is still non-detectable? pt3a 52years old and no serious other medical conditions? thanks in advance!
Salvage prostatectomy generally refers to individuals who have prostatectomy after some form of radiation therapy (seed implants or external beam radiation). Right now, after surgery, you should be watching your PSA at regular intervals and working on regaining urinary control and potency.

Positive RT.margin. Is this the type of failed surgery that might of been better served with a surgeons HANDS and not a robot? Perhaps the surgeon would of FELT or SENSED the broken margin? Its not like the needle biopsy or the eno rectal mri wasent telling the surgeon where the problem was/is! As a retired house painter....lol....if a customer told me that a particular room or wall was wet or covered with grease or tar etc. and the paint was peeling off the room a few months later, I as the owner, painter, or in this case surgeon would be obliged to fix things. I don't really think your gonna answer this but I thought that I would toss it out anyway. Thanks!
