Difficulty urinating & ejaculating

I am a 35 year old male in good health who works out regularly.  Several years ago in my 20's I was diagnosed with Prostatitis which was treated with Cipro which seemed to work.  Lately, I have noticed that I am having trouble urinating with the same ease that I used too, additionally I am having problems ejaculating with the same ease/force I used to.  I put myself on a 30 day regimen of Cipro which eased my problems.  Having gone off the Cirpro the difficulties have returned.  What should I do? Go back on Cipro? Other treatment options/ medications?
Thank you.

Hi,

I was about the same age as you with many symptoms that you describe. A few years later, at the age of 30 the problem got worse. I consulted with 2 urologist and several cystoscopies, it was noticed that I had some tissue at the bladder neck. In 1995 I underwent a TURP and resction of the bladder neck. The surgery only gave relief for a short period. In 1996, a urodynamics study was done and it it was then determined that I had a neurogenic bladder. I than was told to use intermittant catherization in order to empty the bladder as I was unable to completely empty my bladder the normal way.

From around 1995 to 2003 I used to get kidney infections, orchitis, eppiditimytis. To clear up these infections, I had used Cipro to combat these problems. I would end up in the local hospital about ever 3 to 4 months.

I assume that you might have simmilar pproblems, close to the same that I have. Your symtoms could be the result of other conditions of the nervous system.
I could also be a strict in the urethra.

I suggest to consult with your doctor to rule out any more serious conditons.

God bless,

Ron
