My Wife

My wife had a echocardiogram the other day amd the results said she had a RVSP score of 39/10. She is worried about it. Her heaetrate has been elevated and blood pressure is fine.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Echo is notoriously inaccurate for the diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension.  Moreover, an RVSP of 39 is only mildly elevated.  She should be seen by a cardiologist who you trust to discuss her symptoms and her echo results.

If any doctor tries to prescribe medications based on the results of this echo, please run the other way.

Unfortunately, I am unable to comment much more on your post.

Wishing you the best,

Dr. Rich
