CT Scan of the liver showed two, one cm lesions

I had a CT Scan recently that showed two, one cm lesions on my liver.  Outside of this, the liver was fine.  There was a note saying there was no, to minimal growth of the lesions since the last scan in 2011.  A 2009 scan at a different hospital report no lesions (recent radiologist did not have access to this report or the 2009 scan).

I'm actually a little upset I was not told of this finding either time (2011 or 2017 Scan).  The scan was for my kidneys, and I was only told there was no change.  I went to the hospital the next day to get a copy of the report, and saw the comment about the lesions on my liver.

Can I assume no growth = nothing to worry about?

The reason I ask - I drank heavily for around ten years, but quit a year ago.  I worry about having damaged my liver.  I'm encouraged my liver was not enlarged, and not fatty, but Inwonder if the lesions could be signs of damage from the drinking and an early sign of cirrhosis.
