QUESTION ABOUT MRI REPORT

Hi had an MRI just recently done this is the results

Brain

There are no abnormal focus of restricted diffusion
The Ventricular system, convexity sulci, basal cisterns are intact
The Cranial cervical junction Is intact
There are no high signal intensity foci identified within white matter

On series 6 image 21 , there is a slightly lobulated focus demonstrates signal similar intensity to gray matter noted within the right corona radiatra.
This measures approximately 3mm . This uncertain significant and could represent a small focus of heterotopic gray matter ,importantly ,this is unchanged compared to previous

Summary

No acute Intracranial process is seen

3mm focus within the right corona radiate that demonstrates similar intensity gray matter . The possibility this represents heterotopic gray matter is raised. The finding however is stable when compared with MRI done in 2005

My QUESTION/ concerns are about the 3mm focus within right corona effecting gray matter?

Cervical

as noted on the more remote study in 2005, the presence of thin hyper intensity is noted within the cervical spinal cord ..This has a linear morphology . There is no associated cord expansion or cord edema. This is similar in appearance compared with previous and extends from approx. The level of C2-C3 disc space to approx. the level of the T1 vertebra.
Findings likely represent a thin syrinx/prominent canal

The cranial cervical junction is intact

there is a mild posterior osteochondral bar c3-c4
the cervical spine is preserved

Summary
This linear hyper intensity with in the anterior aspect of the cervical spinal cord. Findings are in keeping with a thin syrinx /prominent central canal .
Findings are stable compared with previous . No cord edema or cord expansion.

MY QUESTION.. is this is it a prominent canal or the entire areas mentioned a syrinx

what is posterior osteochondral bar that is located on C3-C4

Lumbar /thoracic

Scout images ..No gross abnormalities noted
there are 5 Lumbar -type vertebra with the conus ending at level L1
there are no degenerative changes present
the neuroforamina are patent
the thecal sac is unremarkable. The spinal cord is within normal limits with no evidence of syrinx
parapinal tissue is unremarkable

impression
normal exam

QUESTION  ... regarding the 5 lumbar -type vertebra with the conus endings at level L1 , what do that mean ?
on my Cervical it states syrinx /canal onT1 , on this one says no syrinx on this report
