What do ‘flow-voids’ mean on a brain MRI?

Hi all. I have a brain MRI done annually to keep an eye on some small lesions I have, and the results came back this year with something that had never been mentioned before: “Flow-voids are visualized in the major vessels of the anterior and posterior circulation.” Does anyone know what this means? Or has anyone had a similar finding on their MRI of the brain? Thanks!

In scientific terms, flow voids refer to signal loss occurring with blood and other fluids moving at sufficient velocity relative to the MRI apparatus. In layman's terms, this means the blood is flowing and the vessel is patent so this is normal.
