X-ray also reveals odontoid fracture with atlantoaxial dislocation, suggestive forceful head trauma.
Also X-ray findings mentioned in the previous message are evident.

Reevaluate with a trauma specialist and Orthopedic Neurosurgeon for complete management without any complications.

God Bless you!

The open mouth view of cervical spine or Odontoid View shown here suggests a Jefferson's Fracture, which demonstrates reduction in joint space between C1 and C2 articular process, displacement of Lateral masses of C1 fracture of atlas which needs to be evaluated on lateral X-ray of cervical spine and also with CT with coronal reconstruction in multi planar or multi axial view would confirm the extent of the fracture. Neurological deficit must be assessed and see what is extension of injury.

Have a CT scan done and reevaluate to correlate clinically. Why was this kind of X-ray taken?Have you had met with any injuries to head? What are the symptoms present? What are the further investigations done to confirm this?
