In the periventricular and subcortical white matter of both cerebral hemispheres with mainly subcortical localization, some variable-sized lesions are observed showing increased signal intensity on T2 and FLAIR-oriented sequences. They do not limit diffusion or take up the intravenously administered paramagnetic substance. have non-specific imaging characteristics. they could concern chronic micro-ischemic foci, as well as and/or non-specific foci related to headaches - migraines no obvious changes can be seen in the interlobular lobe, the optic thalamus, the basal ganglia and the structures of the posterior cranial fossa
