when rib injury healing process becomes visible in X-ray easily?

Had an accident with our 2 months old baby boy, initial x-ray could not did not reveal any rib injury but after 12 days of accident it revelead that there was 2 ribs fracture.
If an radiologist sees a chest  x-ray of infant 2 months old clearly showing that on two ribs healing process has started and have budding around the broken areas, how old could be the injury?

when rib injury healing process becomes easily visible in X-ray?
Thanks in Advance

The callus of healing bones appears at different times depending on age. In a 2 month old, it could appear as early as 1 week. In an 80 year old that smokes, it might take a month or more to show up.

Many thanks for clarification, it was great help.

In X-ray if Callus is visible approx three times the density of the bones, can you approx tell how old could be the injury depending on your best practice and knowledge in 2 months old baby?
