How are you? Cholangitis or an infection of the common bile duct and presents with abdominal pain, chills, fever, clay-colored stools, nausea, dark urine, or yellowing of the skin. To reach this diagnosis, diagnostic tests such as abdominal ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram (PTCA) and blood tests including liver function tests and liver enzyme levels may need to be done.
