Schamberg's disease

My husband has Schamberg's disease and it seems to be getting worse with each outbreak.  His legs and completely covered and it is now raised and bright red. It has also taken over his arms. Is this normal? Could it be something else? He can't seem to get any relief.

While it is not impossible quite rare to get schamberg's on the hands. Also most cases it is not raised from the skin.
Your husband is likely to have a variant of Schamberg's known - Gougerot and **** type lichenoid type.
Treatment modalities would be similar.
Regards.
