Thank you for your comment.I am writing in regards to my son. He was delayed getting diagnosed ,therefore treatment was delayed..Is Flagyl  and Cipro still antibiotics of choice? He also has clotting disorders,MTFR and APCR which complicates things. I was reading where Vitamin C is helpful

Hi

Treatment for tetanus needs both medications and supportive care.

The medications used are : Antitoxins, antibiotics and vaccine

Supportive care is given in the intensive care unit and consists of sedation and ventilatory support. Long term physiotherapy is also needed in some cases.

Take care,
Regards
