metabolic disorder

My husband has had 2 cases of Rhabdomyolosis with CPK's ranging at the highest of 92,000. He has had compartment syndrome twice both with the Rhabdo. He has slowly gotten weaker. He has had a muscle biopsy that was negative. He has had dna testing for most known genetic diseases. He does have sickle cell trait, not the disease. Carnetine def is negative. He does show elevated lactic acid levels and amonia levels in the blood while doing an exercise resp test. He now has bilateral enlarged parotid glands which is visible and diagnosed with a ct scan. His Amlays is elevated. His viral studies are all esentially negative. The last time he did an upper body work out, just 4 push ups he got sclerosed veins(not sure that is the name) He had clotts in the veins in the arm. You could feel them also diagnosed by a doctor. He has been to metabolic, neurologic, rheumotologic, and Infectious disease specialists. Knowbody knows what is wrong. He is unable to work out or exercise due to these problems. He is fatigued all the time, and gets arm weakness when he does anything with his upper body.  We are at a loss and are not sure what to do. Any Ideas please help.
