pain in right chest bellow upper ribs

I have been experiencing pain on my right side under my upper ribs and just below my breast. It it made much worse when I have to cough (I have had a bad chest cough for almost 2 months now) or when I have to blow my nose. It hurts to breath deeply, and it is painful to move around very much (sitting up, turning, etc). Today I was also experiencing heart burn. Is this something i should be concerned about and what could is possibly be? Or is it most likely a strained muscle from all of the coughing I have experienced?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
HI,
How are you? Were you able to have your symptoms checked by your doctor? If it has been 2 months for the cough symptom, this is likely a pulmonary condition. Chest x-ray, you medical history and direct clinical examination are important. Take care and do keep us posted.

Hi,
How are you? What other symptoms are present? Was there a previous trauma in this area? This could he due to musculoskeletal, postural or possible inflammation and  infection. Warm compress and pain relievers may help. However, if it persists, have this checked by your doctor for proper management. Direct clinical examination is essential. Take care and regards.
