can i get rabies from coming into contact with a car tire that had just run over a dead racoon
Please help i was bitten by a dog about 2 days ago on my lip i now have a small rash on my arm consisting of about six bumps close together also when i go to the gym to workout i experience severe headaches could i have rabies ? the dog is up to date on his shots apparently

How are you? Rabies is usually transmitted by a bite from an infected animal but occasionally by other forms of contact such as saliva and other fluids of the infected animal being exposed to open wound or cuts. If there was no history of immunization against rabies, it is best that you have one. Post exposure prophylaxis is highly successful in preventing the disease if administered within ten days of infection. Take care and do keep us posted.
