Dr. Archabauld

I have a few more questions for you , when they put the xenografts on me 33 years ago does your body try to reject them all of those years and if I go and get the contractures fixed will they take all those xenografts off of my body? and how do they know if my body has been trying to reject them ? Thank You .

The xenografts almost completely are reabsorbed by your body within 3 months of application. You probably have no xenograft. Your normal immune system rejects tissue that is not yours. You now have your own skin and that is what needs to be modified. You will not need to have skin removed, but rather have contractures opened and your owns skin placed into the areas opened up.
