Plastic Surgeon Career

I want to become a plastic surgeon, but i am confused on what to study in college. i have been told to study biology, but I want to be certain. Also I get cold sores very frequently, i want to know how can i prevent them.

Wow, what a wonderful goal. Study bilogy, study psychology, study chemistry. All these are used daily in plastic surgery, but you have a long way to go. Get good grades, and participate in school activities and live a healthy life. All good things are important. We do look at everything someone does. Good luck, and have a great career!!

It doesn't matter what you major in, in college as long as you meet the prerequisites for medical school. I would try and get involved in the medical field somehow, like by volunteering at the hospital, participating in an explorers program, etc.  Keep your grades up as well. But try to be well rounded. good luck.
