pain

Dearest Ma’am!

My name is Anam Rehman. I am a friend of your patient named Sulaiman. I needed your advice on some personal health problem. He told me that you can guide.

I have been suffering from a bad pain in my right breast; it’s in the left and lower part of it. It’s been many years now. I guess I was in grade 8 or 9 and now it’s my 2nd year of bachelor studies. The pain wasn’t severe or I didn’t feel it much or may be I don’t remember how much it was, but it was there I remember.

I never hit anything nether it’s hereditary. None of my family members have such pains, but my mother says it’s nothing to worry about and it’s normal and that some people have this type of pain. She is not a doctor nor does she have any friend who had told her. My sister and mom have a little pain also but not as badly as I have.

Whenever I stiffen or leave my body light and gently touch both my breasts they both pain quite a bit but the right one hurts much more then the left one.

I haven’t consulted any doctor and never took any painkillers. Only my mother knows about it.

Please help me in this matter, guide me what should I do and please also tell me if it’s serious and what disease is it. What can I do about it? Please guide me all about it. I am much tensed.

I played tabble tennes for two to three years, one years back. I did swimming alot but that is also two to three years back. I haven't done exercise for much longer period of time even. I dont know why the pain is there.

Thank you so much, I’ll be eagerly looking forward to your reply.

Yours truly,
Anam Rehman. Dated: 5th August, 2008.

The only way to get a definitive diagnosis to your problem is to see a physician and have a formal examination. No-one can diagnose on the internet. If you are having milk production, pain and swelling you really need to see a physician. Try talking to your mother. The emergency room is an option if you have no insurance. That way you can be seen, and then receive a referral to another physician who will examine you further. I hope this helps.Respectfully,

The problem could have a complex source. You could have fibrocystic problems in your breast tissue, and this can cause discomfort. You might have active milk production and have pain, and you might have a sensitivity that is tied up with a perceived problem with your breasts. I suggest finding a good ob/gyn doctor, let her examine you, and have a heart to heart about this problem. I hope this helps. Respectfully,
