Can a doctor know if a girl broke her hymen by accident ?

hey I just wanted to know .. if a doctor can know wether a girl broke her hymen by accident or by sexual intercourse .. Even after a long time of the accident ?? cz we're living in a society that thinks that the HYMEN is a sign of virginity , and I'm afraid to tell my parents about the accident that I had ... please reply ..

i dunno can a glass specialist tell if you broke a window by accident or if you broke it on purpose?

here in the states our doctors don't check if our hymens are in tact...and as far as i know they can't differentiate between sexual intercourse breaking the hymen and an accident.

if you had an accident...tell your parents. it would be a good idea to get an exam to be sure nothing was damaged.

To this, I do not  know.  In our society, this is not routinely checked.  Do they take you to the doctor to be checked?  Or are you saying you want to go to the doctor to verify it is broken from an accident.  By the way, how do you know it is broken from an accident?  Blood does not necessarily mean that the hyman is broken.  So depending on the "accident"-------- I don't know that the hyman would be involved.  

So who is going to question whether your hyman is broken or not?  Your future husband?  Do you think he'll suspect otherwise?  Maybe you are worrying about something you don't need to worry about.  Good luck
