Can birht control affetc your emotiinal stability?

I use Yasmin BC but since I've started using it I find thatmy emotions can be rather topsy turvy for lack of a better word. Could it be the BC or is it just me? Sometime I'd be like "whoa! I never acted like that before!"  I'd really like some feed back on this.

lack of birth control can effect your emotional health as well. There has to be a happy medium, have them check the dosage? or change to something more compatible

Yes - can imbalance hormones, and same as "menopause" can affect you in how you think sometimes. Speak to your doctor about it and I would suggest getting a "hormone panel" done.

The added hormones don't help.  I noticed when I was going through some personal issues with me and my fiance, I had started taking BC pills and had to come off because it made me too emotional.  I felt extra depressed and I didn't like the lack of control over my emotions.  I wound up getting the copper IUD, it has no hormones and is just as effective as the pill.  Plus, I don't have to remember to take anything and I'm protected for 5-10 years.
