I love him, but is he really mine?

I'm separated with my wife, and we have a baby thats about a year old. I love him as much as humanly possible, but I have a concern... I heard a rumor that my wife may or may not have cheated on me around the time that the baby was conceived. The baby has some traits that neither myself or my wife have, but shares a resemblance to the man that was rumored to have been with her. Is it possible, or even legal to have a maternity test done without her knowledge? I'm sure there's nothing to worry about, but I'd prefer to know for certain.

I am wondering why you split up, could you have someone else in your life whocould be the person telling you of the rumors?

Let me add something quickly, I did ask her if she cheated on me, and she got extremelyE defensive. It resulted in a bad argument. That could be considered that she's covering it up, or maybe she was just insulted. The question about the baby has NEVER been brought up though...

Dont go by rumors ask your wife,  ,you can always ask for DNA if you think it is true, dont listen to anyone who has an agenda against her. I am not certain of the legality but if you are paying child support it would be good to get some information on where you stand .
