So, let me first say--------- thanks to all who played along.  I too like psychological quizes and this one did not turn out how I had expected!  So, it is just for fun and implies nothing relative to your real life (for MY husband's sake . . . I hope not!!).  I'll put my answers and then reveal what answers mean after each one.

1.  I put my husband.  The person(s) that you placed here indicates who you is the most important person to you.  (whew . . . that one turned out okay for me.  Glad I didn't put my dog here.)
2.  dog.  (saved my dog for here)-------  the size of whatever animal you placed here represents how you yourself see perceive the problems in your life (my dog is 11 pounds . . .thank goodness I did not put bear but that would be more accurate this week!)
3. pet him.  The severity of the interaction you have with the animal represents how you deal with problems (passively/aggressively).
4.  small cottage and let me just say that I loved all the details given by folks and really Rockrose wins the prize for most visuals . . . loved it!  Anyway . . . the size of your dream house is representative of the size of ambition you have to solve your problems.
5.  no fence for me.  This indicates whether you are open or closed.  No fence means open, always welcoming of others.  People can stop over any time (um . . .that is so not me------  like a bit of warning so I can put away all the underwear laying around (kidding . . . kind of))  and if you put fence------- you are closed, need warning for others to stop in, closed to people.
6.  I just put flowers.  Again, love the detail about the dining room and it appears this is an important room to all of you!  Anyway, if you didn't put flowers, people, or food in your answer----- you are generally unhappy.  (rockrose . . . I know that is NOT true!!)
7.  This is where I went all wrong and will have to hid the results from my husband.  I put plastic.  So . ..  the durability of the material with which the cup is made of represents how you perceive the durability of your relationship with the person you put in question one.  Example------ styrofoam, plastic (ouch) or paper are disposable (double ouch).
8.  Oh no.  I said I'd throw it away.  The disposition of the cup (or what you did with it) is a representation of your attitude torwards your important person.  (sorry to my hubby). Ivy, Ivy, I don't know about your answer either but at least your hubby isn't in the trash like mine is.
9.  I put lake.  The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire. (hey . . . it was a BIG lake I pictured.)
10.  boat.  OUCH.  How wet you got in crossing the water is indicative of the relative importance of your sex life.  Lovemykids and Ashelen, your husbands will be thrilled with your answer!

So funny about the plastic cup.  You and I did the same thing - and I know that's not how I feel,  but I laughed OUT LOUD when I read the test key.  Hahahaha pick them up and throw them away.

Here's the deal.  I live on a ravine,  and outside my kitchen window is the side of a big rock hill,  I love that window view.  WIth the last windstorm there is this big bright blue plastic cup right in the middle of my view,  that's all I see now.  My eyes go right to that dang cup.

To get the cup I'd have to put on my hiking boots and try to get down there safely.    It's dicey and I could fall or slip.

So when that question of the cup came up,  I thought that dang blue cup again!  How much I want to grab it and throw it away.

Very funny.

I laughed out loud when I said I have no desire to cross the water.  Haha of all the word choices.

Fun,  Specialmom.

I am glad you liked it Rockrose!  So funny--------- when I was first doing the quiz, I thought "oh this will be fun . . . I'll bring it along to my special date with hubby on Saturday night".  Then I revealed my answers and my next thought was "burn it!"  LOL

Should I wish you a big wind to come through and take the blue cup away so you have no responsibility in what happens to it?  LOL  When you do finally get down to it and pitch it . ..  you might give it a hug goodbye now.

Ha lovemykids . . . my husband would feel the same way from my answers when it is the opposite of how I feel about him.   . . . kind of why I decided to NOT bring this to our special Valentine's dinner on Saturday.  LOL

It is a funny quiz, isn't it?

I think it is so cold here that the thought of swimming does not sound appealing right now.  I'm sticking with that as my story!!

I passed this around to my family - and we had some discussions about the "dream house".  Many in my family picked what I had - a tiny little quaint cottage in the woods,  my niece even putting porridge on the table.

My true dream homes would be a villa on the mediterranean,  or a home in Maine on a hill overlooking the ocean.  But you don't come to those on a walk in the woods.  ;D

I think the "walk in the woods" you imagine a house that you would actually see walking through the woods.  It would be jarring to walk through the woods and end up  on the grounds of a villa on the mediterranean!  Haha.

I thought of this as well . . . how could the water be something like an ocean unless you walked through some woods that were palm trees.  Oh well.  Flawed it is!  But still fun.

But to be honest . . . my dream house is still probably a cute, little cottage.  Just with granite and brazilian cherry floors . . . like a really decked out cute, little cottage.  Oh . . . and that is my dream house after I move from these dang suburbs where we raise these dang kids! (that I love dearly.)

Oh, and just to go on and on because it seems I can't stop myself, LOL . . . another spin on the question of the dream house size is that maybe picking a smaller house first (which is our desire to solve our own problems) is because our problems are on the small side (you picked a squirrel, rockrose and were friendly to it!).  It's all in perception, right?  hee hee

Lol, I actually took this quiz in my head a couple of days ago when I saw this post, but I didn't have time to type my answers because I've been dealing with a very sick, cranky, pitiful baby that had refused to leave my arms for the last three days. Anyway, here are the answers I chose, and the reasons why, at the time I was mentally taking this quiz, I chose the way I did.

1. My husband and boys (the question was not specific about how many people you could be with). --Bonus points for me here, right? ;-)

2. A deer, because that's one of the most likely animals one would see on a walk in the woods. Hmmm...I can see perceiving my life issues as about the size of a deer...preferably a small doe rather than some 8-point buck during mating season or something, lol.

3. A staredown until it decides to bound away. I mean, heck...I'm walking with my husband and boys and we see a deer, so of course the general idea is going to be to stop abruptly to point it out to the boys, whisper to them to be still and observe nature's beauty, and let it decide when it wants to go on its merry way. So apparenly I'm passive in handling my issues...I can see that being somewhat true.

4. My dream house just appeared out of nowhere in the woods?! Heck yeah! Well...it's not too big, because I hate house cleaning and upkeep, but it's not too small. I'm guessing around 1800-2000 square feet, two stories, and made of stone siding and lots of windows to let in plenty of sunlight. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and I'd like to add that it has a "secret lab" in the basement, for the sole purpose of the amusement of my oldest son and husband. Yet I really don't feel I have the conscious ambition of this size to solve all my problems; perhaps subconscious, but certainly not conscious, because I don't like confrontation.

5. My dream house has a fence around the back yard. I have two kids and a dog, and apparently, there is a body of water at the edge of my property, as stated in question #9, so...a fence to keep the kids 'n critters in is a good idea. Common sense. So does this mean I'm "half closed" to letting other people into my life??? Hmmm.

6. Chairs. That's what you generally see around a dining room table. I didn't think beyond seeing what was around the table in a broader perspective, lol. I would hardly say that I'm an unhappy person, though--I actually enjoy my life quite a lot. ☺

7. After exiting the back door and finding a cup on the ground in my fenced back yard, the cup is made of plastic--and not the disposable kind. Most likely, this is a sippy cup or a knock-around cup that I sent out with one of the boys one day, and they left it lying in the grass. --SCORE on the durability of my relationship! Glass and ceramic can break, and disposable plastic and styrofoam are, well...disposable. But children's plastic cups...well now...it don't get more durable than that!!! Ha!

8. I put the cup on the back porch table, to bring it in later, because according to the next question, we are now walking to the edge of the property to that body of water. Lol, at least I didn't throw the cup away!

9. The body of water at the edge of my property is a small pond, stocked with fish, and it has a cute little wooden dock. By the way...this ain't no goldfish pond...my pond isn't THAT small! Just to clarify...lol.

10. Cross the water? Walk around it. Duh. That's what you do with small ponds because they're too wide to jump, too small for anything but an inflatable raft (which I don't want to buy because it'll just get a hole in it), and swimming in ponds is just not my cup of tea because either it's too cold outside, or it's so stinkin' hot that the pond has nasty algae growing on it and smells kinda fishy.
This imagery of how wet I get in crossing the water being indicative of the importance of my sex life? Umm...no. Quite the opposite, haha! ☺

LOL AHP . . .  if my pond ever gets to the point of your pond description, I expect my HUSBAND's desire for me to the size of a puddle.  That's all I'm saying.  And I appreciate the reasoning behind all of your answers.  Makes "perfect" sense!

Ya know what I love . . .  as you visualized your walk I felt like I was on the walk with you.  Does that make me an important person?   (kidding)  But I do love the imaginations of you folks and the details given . . . and williness to play along!'

Okay, everyone go kiss your spouse.
