Coughing after eating

Hello,
A few years ago, I had a really bad case of bronchitis.  Ever since this instance of bronchitis (there have been many but this one was bad) I cough after eating.  Sometimes it's just one solid productive feeling cough and sometimes it's a few.  I was just wondering if this is something that may be a symptom of a deeper problem.  I never really thought much of it, except that it seemed pretty strange, but I was beginning to think that maybe it deserved more consideration?  Thank you!

I went to a pulmonologist with the same issue, and he suggested Nexium x2 per day. Also richola  cough drops and Alka seltzer chews. No advil, only tylenol. It seems to help some. Don't lie down after eating. I can't even sit in a recliner. My got so bad I couldn't even turn my head.hope this helps.

I also had the problem of mucus after eating and have found that it is because
of a food-allergie.( eggs, diary and so on ).
When I avoid alletrgic foods I have no mucus problem.

When I have an attac ( musus and coughing  that could last for hours )
I take half a teaspoon of Baking Soda in a glas of water and have immediate relief.
