Dark Circles Under Eyes

1) I am currently taking allergy shots for dust mite, cat & pollen allergies & am close to reaching my mainetnance dose. I also take nasonex, asterlin, clarinex and mucinex & decongestants as needed. Earlier this year I was on predisone & antibiotics for a sinus infection, I feel better now than I have felt in a year (although it took anothe 2-3 weeks after stopping prednisone & antibiotics to feel better so not sure if these were the cause or not). However, I still have dark circles under my eyes. Is there anything I can do about this?

2) Could the allergy shots be working this quickly? I have 3 shots left in my 4th vial...one more vial to go before reaching maintence.

3) A CT scan of sinuses (after predinsone but before antibiotics) showed that passages were inflammed but open & that there were "pools of snot" (Dr's terminology, not mine) in my cheek areas of sinuses. Both my GP and ENT say these are normal for allergy sufferers but antibiotics were prescribed (although no follow up suggested). Are such pools of mucus normal?

What do you think of this ebook?
It needs to be paid to see what is inside, but from the promotion part or your previous experience maybe you can tell if it is a scam or not.

I have had my tonsils taken out and i went out and done something stupid because i did not understand what happens when you take out your tonsils i went out and took a whole bunch of antibiotics that dr.'s prescribed because i had my surgery and that stuff started to roll down the back of my throat and it started to burn like wild fire and so i wanted to stop it so i did now i regret what i did and now i want my nose to open up so i can breathe i dont know if i have a problem or not but when he took out my tonsils my mother said that you need doctors attention you need doctors attention and just kept on going saying that like i really needed doctors attention but in fact it opened up my nose and so i could breathe better but when i took all of those antibiotics and my mother thru me out into the cold just after surgery it stoped up my nose and so i could not breathe so here i am now with the nose stopped up and swollen oh i forgot to mention that he left my adenoids in and the back of my throat has been hurting could this be candida from all of those antibiotics of could this be because of the fact that i had an ear problem and my right tonsil was swollen and also my adenoid was swollen and just before surgery something popped and started to drain and i started to feel better but now i just feel worse WHAT COULD BE MY PROBLEM . I DONT UNDERSTAND .

1. Dark circles under the eyes are a fairly common sign of allergy.  People who are fair skinned are more likely than others to have these.  There is not much you can do about them.

2. It is possible for allergy injections to have an early positive effect, although it is not the common course.

3. It is not common for pools of mucus to be present when there is neither an infection nor an obstruction.  The most common finding from an allergic individual is swelling of the lining.  Increased mucus should be able to drain and not pool, when the sinuses are open.
