Questions re: follow-up lung CT

I just got a copy of my 3-mo follow-up lung CT report.  It starts with:

"6mm irregular shaped density in the right lung apex is stable. A small pleural-based opacity medially on this image is also stable. There is a stable uncalcified nodule in the left lung apex measuring 4mm. In the right lung base, there is a cluster of nodules with some thickening of pleura or atelectasis. This is unchanged as well."

I do try not to read too much into these reports. But I'm also going in for a sinus CT this week (through my ENT) due to chronic sinus issues and a blockage in one of my sinuses. Nerves are at an all-time high.  Aren't "irregular shaped" nodules in the lung normally malignant? That's the only thing I see if I do any research on that type of reference.
My PCP says everything is fine and we'll do another follow-up lung CT in about 6-9 months.

Thanks for any assistance as it eases my peace of mind.

By all conventional criteria, these nodules are small and thus highly likely to be benign in every sense of the word.  While the presence of an irregular surface of a much larger, singular nodule would be worrisome for possible malignancy, the surface  “irregularity” of multiple small nodules, of this size, does not at all have that same significance.  Both you and your doctors should be reassured by the fact that there have been no changes in the size or configuration of these nodules over a 3 month period, the recommendation that the CT Scan be repeated in 6 months is sound.  You may want to check with your doctors regarding the wheezing.

Forgot to mention that I have noticed a mild wheezing in the last 6-8 weeks as well. Thanks.
