Getting worse, coughing and choking.

Well I had this terrible cough that soon caused chest pains and now I'm choking on phlegm and can't eat anything because whatever I eat makes me feel like I'm going to choke except for chicken noodle soup. When I cough, I spit up clear phlegm and sometimes the coughing hurts my chest really bad. Sometimes when I cough the phlegm I sometimes choke on it a little bit and can't breathe for 1-5 seconds and I also sometimes have trouble swallowing. I made few scenes when I was gasping for air, especially this one night I couldn't breathe for 5 minutes and trying to get air, I had to wake my parents up to help me. I think the third time I choked, I kept coughing and spitting up more clear phlegm for around 20 minutes. I lost my appetite some because I am always afraid that I am going to choke. Also, I got meds too for whatever I have, I got loratatine, a med that help with infection but also has a high chance of permanent nerve damage, and a inhaler called Proair ~~. I'm 15 and this is tough because I don't want to miss much school.

You are on the right path working with your parents and your doctor.. I read you have prescription medication.

You problem sounds very troubling and can make it hard to concentrate, but keep trying and getting as much rest as possible.  Lots of water too, I would suggest and assume you have heard this all from your parents and doctor.  I reply mostly to encourage you to remain positive and working with your parents and doctor, none here can provide a better diagnosis than you have.

Hope it goes well soon, and congratulations on your writing skills, your post reads "advanced" to me for someone 15 years old.  I say this too without the benefit of other examples, but surely I can say I found your post easy to read and understand, albeit I can not provide the answer you are looking for.
