Help

Almost exactly 2 years ago i got pnumonia ever since then every 2-3 months I get severe chest infections. I have also just gotten(roughly two weeks) over whooping cough and now ive got another infection. they get so bad that at night ive woken up almost choking on the phlem that ive brought up in my sleep. i can normally always feel the phlem rattling in my chest. As a six year i was hospitalised for severe pnumonia and have since then been prone to  be chesty- however these last 2 years, i am almost always on antibioticsto try and stop the infections from returning. I went to the doctor and despite telling him all this he didnt even listen to my chest just told me it was caused by reflux. Help, please.

hi,I used to suffer from cough`s` and scary chocking feelings.I used to feel like I was choking.I had repeated chest infections and antibiotics were always on the menu.

I started getting " the flu jab"  every year, ever sinse then I HAVE HAD VERY FEW CHEST INFECTIONS SINCE THEN.
I have lung desease, however the flu jab has helped me to keep chest infections few and far between. I also use an inhaler called "seretide"
Hope this helps you.
