Lung Crackling

So I am currently experiencing crackling in my lungs. This will happen infrequently - about once every two weeks, but for a few hours or a whole day. When I breathe in it sounds like my lung is crackling. I had a collapsed lung about 6 months ago, and I have pain all over my chest, which I figured was from the lung surgery - but the crackling is strange. It is mainly on the side which had no collapsed lung, but sometimes in both. Thoughts?
