Lung Nodular

Back February I was in the ER for a fast heart rate that was later determined to be caused by dehydration and I was also diagnosed with PVCs.  While in the hospital they took a chest x-ray to determine if my heart was the right size.  (We have history of heart issues in my family)  Yesterday, I went to pick up a copy of my medical records and noticed that the radiologist noted the following, which was not told to me at the time of my visit to the ER.

To be safe and re-assured, you should do 2 things:
1) obtain all previous chest x-rays and give them to the radiologist.  If this lesion was present in the past and is unchanged, that would be very reassuring; and
2) have another chest x-ray done in 3 to 6 months and then again in one year to confirm stability.

Finally, such nodules are quite common in the midwest and southwest areas of the U.S., as a result of fungal infections.  They are most often discovered on 'routine' chest x-rays.

Last summer I was diagnosed with a "pleural density" in my right lung . I don't know if what we have is similar.  But would you mind telling me if anything the docs told you about this.  Is this a common thing in young people?  I am also a non-smoker but was exposed to second-hand when I was a child.  I am 36 and am also concerned.
