Nosebleeds and headache

Hello, can you tell me if the swelling and shrinking of turbinates in your nose can theoretically be directly related to your blood pressure?  More specifically, the blood pressure within your head?     If so, would it be high or low BP that would cause turbinate to swell, and what maybe causing this BP problem to happen or what else could be causing it?

There is no sinus drainage and the CT was perfectly clear

Thank you so very much.

Neither blood pressure nor the blood pressure within you head cause the swelling and shrinking of nasal turbinates.  Usually they swell in response to allergens.

hi i used to have lots of nosebleeds from a weak spot on one nostril. I'd always have a headache at the same time. I had to incidence of blood pressure problems either high or low. I had the bleeing treated by quaterisation and have never looked back. I still don't know what caused the headaches but they definitely coincided with the bleeding. Id' get the nose chaked and fixed, and blood pressure check at the time it's happeneing if possible. good luck

sorry I forgot to say that I also have frequent nosebleeds out of the right nostril only and sometimes it drains down my throat when sitting up or laying down either one.    I also would wonder if this could be caused by high BP..
