Perpetual Sinus Infections - Right Side Feels Blocked

I have been suffering from sinus infections all of my life, but only 2-3 per year at max. I have also had a terrible post-nasal drip since I was born that NEVER goes away. Since January 2006, my life has been a nightmare. I got a sinus infection around that time that lasted for 2.5 months that included a debilitating cough. I coughed so bad and threw up so often that I couldn't work. The infection never moved into my chest and a very powerful regimen of antibiotics finally killed it. The same thing happened again in September of 2006.

It recurred a month later in December of 2006. I suddenly realized that something had to have changed anatomically. No matter how many times I did nasal washes or blew my nose (by the way, I do EVERYTHING to try and prevent these infections so don't throw meds at me) my right side always felt blocked. The infections always began when my right-side became blocked. Whenever I got a sore throat, it was only on the right side of my throat. My left-side feels like a summers day.

I recently underwent massive surgery. I had a rhinoplasty for nasal valve collapse, a septoplasty, a sinuplasty, and hundreds of polyps removed. But guess what? My right side STILL feels blocked in the EXACT same way. Are the Doctors missing something? I am about to endure my first sinus infection after surgery only 5 days off of the postop antibiotic. It always hurts when I swallow on the right side of my face and my right ear pops a little. I always feel pressure on the right side kind of in the ethmoid/maxillary area. PLEASE HELP!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
I would suggest getting another CT scan of the sinuses to see if they are open or blocked.  This sounds like a direct problem with the flow of drainage in the sinuses.

weird , because i have had THE SAME exact problems as you and my ENT can not figure it out. my nasal drip only comes from my right side and gets really bad at times and iritates my throat and tonsil on that side. i also get lots of reacuring sinus infections. even in the past year i have had 2 CT scans on my sinus and one showed some small ethnoid issues but then the second one 4 months later came back clear but yet my problem persists! i have tried every alergy medication there is and nasal spray and sinus rinse , nothing stops this. i am going to another doctor next week for more opinions but in this day and age where we can launch a spaceship and get pictures back from Jupiter and then decide to build a moon base and a Mars base i would think our medical industry could figure out why we are suffering from simple nasal drip problems giving us lots of discomfort! very strange.

One more thing... the only med I have not tried is antifungal. Should I try this?
