"Twithcy lung".. What actually is it and does the period lasts for years?
Because, I actually have rhonchi (with daily dosage of inhaler) 3 years after the pneumonia is cured. Is that normal ?
The "Z" pack had a reasonably good history, but is inactivated by magnesium, which is a main componant of Nexium. They often forget to mention that. Bacterial infections are characterized by fever and yellow pus in the lung. There is often a long period of what is called a "twitchy" lung after an infection. If the alveoli are plugged the heart rate will naturally increase to maintain a unit volume of oxygen. Try an epectorant such as guenefesen. You often need an expectorant to tell if you still have an infection. The expectorant will cause mucus to come up and you note the color. If yellow, you need another antibiotic. It is not unusual for the alveoli to be blocked for several weeks after an infection. Drink lots of fluids. That help to clear things.
