Recovering from Walking Pneumonia

Hello all, (i posted this question a second time here)

I'm sixteen, turned it august 4, and I'm actually skinny for my age.
Well, I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia sometime last month, July. I can't remember the date sorry.
And everything was going well until one night i woke up dizzy and had a very bad case of the chills so i went to the ER and they gave me IV and took another X-Ray and they told me that the pnemonia was gone from the look of those those X-Rays.

So its been a few weeks from that and i feel a discomfort in my chest, my musels are sore for no reason, and my heart beating irregularly, feels like it stops then starts. its werid

the cough is gone, but i still cough up some white Flem.
But I will say this about my self, I do tend to get nervous and feel there is something wrong with me and then my heart starts beating fast feels like I'm going to have a heart attack.

is this normal, for the recovery. This is the first time I've been sick in about 7 years, soo my imune system may not be that great. Should i just get rest and see if it goes away, or go see my doctir?

Yes, taking hot steamy showers will help move the excess mucous up. Also make sure to stay hydrated. If you don't your mucous will get thick and sticky and then it is more difficult for you lungs to expel it. And finally just make sure you get the rest in that you need, also very important towards repairing of the lungs.

Thanks for your answer =D
I really appreciate it.

Your right I haven't got a fever and I never coughed up green mucus. So I guess that's good.

But today I woke up and felt really bad is there anything I can do that can smooth out this whole recovery process?

Like go into a steam room or something

Thanks, Brian

It can take a couple of months to recover from pneumonia or any other bad lung infection. Your lungs are healing themselves after the invasion of the bugs who made a mess, so be patient. I know it's hard as I have been there myself. As long as you don't get another fever and start coughing up Green Mucous, you are on your way to recovery.
