Shortness of Breath/ Chest Tightness/ Cold feeling in throat/nose while breathing

Hey guys, I could use some help/advice/insight here as I am kind of getting scared with whats started over the past week. About 5 days ago I woke up extremley short of breath, every breath was difficult and felt as if I could not get any oxygen. Chest tightness came along with this, and would be worse with deep breaths (if I could even get one). I went to the ER had a chest xray (negative), blood work (negative), EKG (negative) and blood pressure was 123/85 100% oxygen saturation. So after about 3 days the breathing gets slightly better on its own. A day later I start getting this cold sensation with every breath in my throat/nose (like breathing in air in extremley cold temperatures) I think theres something going on with my lungs here anyone have any ideas as to what it may be? I am 19 year old male who doesnt smoke/drink btw, THANKS!!!

I am 22 and was 19 when I was diagnosed with asthma. I had all of these symptoms, except for the cold feeling in my throat. I went to the ER and my oxygen saturation was also within the normal range. The ER doctor put me on a nebulizer and I felt better afterwards. She also suggested that I may have atypical asthma, meaning that I don't present with the normal symptoms. She referred me to a pulmonologist and lo and behold, I have moderate asthma! I would advise you to go to a pulmonologist as soon as possible because asthma can be life threatening. I'm never without my inhaler anymore:-)

Sounds like an asthma attack.  You need to see a pulmonologist who can test your lungs for asthma and any other lung diseases.
