Singulair and tantrums

My son was on singulair for 6 weeks.  Almost immediately he started having huge tantrums. Slaming doors, screaming at me for no reason.  He said he had sore ears and couldn't hear.  He is 4 and has slept through the night since before he was 1. He is up each night, screaming crying and having nightmares. 2 specialists said this could not be singulair, but I cannot see how it is anything but singulair.  Has any body else had this kind of experience?

I discontinued Singulair because it interrupted my sleep with stressful dreams and nightmares. I can't imagine why they'd tell you the sleep problems couldn't be due to the Singulair - it says right on the Singulair Website that "vivid dreams" is one of the side effects.

I refused giving my son Singulair. I have noticed a behavior change when I give my son Pulmicort and or Xopenex, which are both used for Asthma patients. My son does not have Asthma however we were just told that he has "hyperactive airways". My son is now 15 months and we gave him Pulmicort and Xopenex since he was 6 months. Now that I distrust his Pediatrian and go for more then one opinion I choose to give  my sons immune system a chance to built it up of course with doctors supervision. Even Asthma can me healed naturaly! In some or most cases children do not need medication and natuarl resources should be given a try before anything else.
