Spirometry results

I'm a 31 years old male, heavy smoker for over 15 years. I've had severe coughing and some short breath for 3 or 4 years. I don't exercise at all, as I have a back injury restricting my mobility for more than 10 years. Recently, coughing and breath shortness intensified significantly, I have done a spirometry at the request of my pulmonologist. I searched the internet and figured out what all other figures indicate, except for the FIVC, I have predicted value of 5.09L, best value of 1.61L, with a % of 32%. Taking into consideration that all other values are fairly good as follows: FEV1 94%, FVC 85%, FEV1/FVC 88%.
I will see my pulmonologist within a couple of weeks, and I can't wait to understand why such low FIVC? is this COPD?

Take a look at this website that explains about Spirometry:

Best for you not to worry about CODP and be patient until the specialist explains to you what your spirometry results mean.  There are many health issues that can cause the symptoms you have.

Do you have any animals in the house that can be triggering your coughing and breathing problems?
It may be that you now have asthma.

Hope all goes well for you.
