Vinyl pool liner reaction

I just started to swim in a vinyl pool and was wondering if the new vinyl smell has anything to  do with the burning lungs I get within 1hour of swimming. No previous chlorine allergy.

everyone is allergic to chlorine so to speak it is  a chemical and high levels will burn tissue and even skin if poured directly on it.check the levels in the pool to see if they are balanced if you already have lung issues and your lungs are sensitive to chemicals then you might want to invest in a ozone pool filtration system it is mauch better method of keeping pool water germ free and much healthier for you.
